      — The 2011 edition attracted over 19768 quality visitors from all over India & overseas. The iconic show drew visitors from all over India, Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Singapore, Africa & Dubai . The figures astonished the exhibiting companies who had not expected such a high turnout in this niche market exhibition.

      — 91% of the business visitors were pleased with the show & very happy to find all solutions under one roof & most leading players, local players, international & multinational companies in addition to many medium sized companies to cater to their requirements & helping in enhancing their knowledge on LED.

      VISITOR ATTENDANCE STATISTICS & ANALYSIS :

      — The show witnessed visitors from varied walks of business with

      interest in LED technology. Lighting/LED industry professionals &

      buyers from all across the country & other countries as well attended

      the expo.

      — The expo entry was through a well regulated & screened

      registration process to ensure that the right kind of people attend the

      expo, who are stakeholders in the LED industry be it industry

      professionals or serious buyers.

      — The total number of trade visitors & seminar delegates was 19768

      for the December 2011 edition.

      Show Promotion:

      The show employed a promotional strategy for high show visibility through all media of advertising to establish the strongest identity.

      Different channels of media were used like outdoor advertising, National print media- Newspapers & Magazines, Trade journals, Online promotions, email blasts, SMS marketing, relevant Ministry tie-ups, PR campaign, targeted mailing exercises, personalized mailers, flyers & invitations, telemarketing, participation in international exhibitions, overseas show directory ads & more.

      LED Summit 2011

      The LED Summit is an exclusive conference for the LED industry. Its aim to create a platform for a colloquy between LED related professionals on topics of poignant interest has been a far-reaching success since its inception.

      The 3rd edition of the LED Summit garnered as much interest and success as its predecessors. Presenting an impressive line of speakers from the industry, presentations elucidated, probed and signaled the latest trends and shifting dynamics of the fast growing LED industry.

      LED Summit Summary

      LED Summit 2011 kick-started with the inaugural address given by Shri. Sushil Kumar Shinde, Hon’ble Minister of Power, Govt. of India. The 2-day summit covered several sessions on global perspectives on LED markets, LED markets in India, drivers & controls, measurements & standards, LED applications, design, packaging & latest innovations, LED optics, LED thermal management and marriage of solar & LED presented by 30 esteemed industry speakers from across the globe.

      Three panel discussions focusing on the Inhibitors to the Growth of the LED manufacturing base in India, Career and Skill development opportunities and Street lighting project headed by Mr. Bhishma Kumar Chugh, special advisor, Govt. of India brought lively participation from all the delegates.

      The 3-day Expo which ended on a successful note showed much promise in terms of exhibitor/visitor participation, client interaction, business growth & collaboration and future growth prospects.
